As a child, Galo watched his father Kai die a captive of Pharaoh Rameses—the tyrant who destroyed their homeland of Nubia. Years later, armed with a face identical to his father’s, Galo infiltrates the palace and closes in on the paranoid ruler, turning the Pharaoh’s suspicion into a blade against his enemies. Exposure, imprisonment, and torment cannot break him, and his staged death drives Rameses to madness.
